Curriculum
Undergraduate Majors | Internships
| Graduate Coursework
The five years of the Robert A. Day 4 + 1 BA/MBA Program represent an intensive
time of learning and development. In order to be eligible for the program, students
should complete the following courses at CMC by the end of the junior year:
- Econ 86 - Accounting for Decision Making
- Econ 101 - Intermediate Microeconomics
- Econ 102 - Intermediate Macroeconomics
- Econ 120 - Statistics
- Econ 134 - Corporate Finance
- Econ 151 - Strategic Cost Management
During the senior year, students take classes at CMC and CGU, completing four
graduate level courses prior to graduating from CMC. Through careful selection
of classes, Day 4 + 1 students complete the requirements of the full two-year
MBA program in only one additional year of study after graduating from CMC.
In addition to coursework, each student must complete two summer internships
- one following the junior year and the other after the senior year. These are
designed to give students in-depth management experience. Each internship contains
an academic component where individual students are supervised by a faculty
member while completing a project related to the work experience. Students return
from internships with experiences and insights that they share in classroom
discussion as they progress through the program.
