Transfer Applicants
A student wishing to transfer from another collegiate institution must submit transcripts of all previous college-level work in addition to all other credentials required of freshman applicants. All transcripts should be in English and will be evaluated by the registrar as to transferability. Depending on the number of courses accepted, a student can enter either as a sophomore (2nd-year) or junior (3rd-year) student.
All transfer students must attend Claremont McKenna College for a minimum of two years before being eligible to receive a diploma.
IB level examinations are recognized by the College. The granting of placement and/or credit for scores of 5, 6 or 7 is determined by each department on an individual basis.
