Planned Projects - North Mall East Phase

North Mall East Phase - The Sequel

After the successful completion of the first phase of the North Mall renovation from the Kravis Center to Heggblade Center, planning will soon begin on the second and final east phase of the Mall's upgrade. Commonly known as the North Quad residential precinct, the area defined by Appleby, Wohlford, Boswell, and Green Halls will be redesigned in alignment with architects Moore Ruble Yudell's North Mall planning precedents. Responding to student feedback, the plan will incorporate greater social space for both large and small groups, enhanced landscaping and signage, tree and pathway lighting, more bike and skateboard racks, and a possible water feature, all while retaining the grass areas for student recreational use. As of now, a project commencement date has not been identified, but all work will be completed during a summer break.
