Emacs Version 22.2

I understand that there is a newer version, i.e., 22.2 available:

I have not tried it myself and I am not in a rush to try it yet.

If you want to install it, you will have to adapt my instructions for the new one. I am told that the handling of HOME has changed on Windows in Emacs 22. See

  (info "(emacs) Windows HOME")

Please let me (alee at cmc dot edu) know if you find out anything special as you install the new one.
