Millard Sheets: A Legacy of Art & Architecture One-Time-Only Tour of Sites in Claremont and Pomona Designed by Sheets, Sunday, March 18

The Los Angeles Conservancy is holding a one-time-only architectural tour of historic sites in Claremont and Pomona that were designed by local artist Millard Sheets. A Pomona Valley native, Sheets helped found the Otis Art Institute and directed the Scripps College art department for 19 years.

The tour will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, and will be followed by a panel discussion at 5 p.m. at Claremont United Church of Christ with some of Sheets's former colleagues, including renowned sculptors Betty Davenport Ford and John Svenson, and Sheets's son and daughter.

All of the information about Sunday's event, including tour ticket prices, can be found on the Conservancy's website.
