SOURCE Nonprofit Consulting, a student-run organization at Claremont McKenna College, is commemorating 10 years of community impact by hosting the SOURCE Nonprofit Summit: Celebrating Local Innovation & Collaboration on Friday, February 27, 2015, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Claremont McKenna College.

The SOURCE Nonprofit Summit aims to celebrate and spark community collaboration, while highlighting how local organizations can benefit from the consulting services that SOURCE has to offer. Local community organizations and students from the Claremont Colleges are invited to participate in the day-long conference.

The greater Claremont area serves as a home for more than 100 nonprofit and socially-driven organizations that focus on a diverse range of issues, such as the arts, human services, and education. SOURCE offers these nonprofits a wide array of pro bono consulting services that include program evaluation, marketing analysis, and development with the objective of helping nonprofits build capacity and develop effective strategies to better fulfill its mission.

Since 2005, SOURCE has grown to include a team of thirty student consultants. Operating on a rotational, project-focused model, SOURCE offers student consultants with practical leadership and development opportunities that prepare them to promote sustainable community growth long after they graduate from Claremont McKenna.
