Transfer Information

left column imageWelcome to Claremont McKenna College!

As a transfer student, you are already familiar with a college or university environment, and your questions and needs are different from first-year students. CMC is excited that you have joined our unique community, and we are committed to providing you with the best college experience possible. Orientation is a time to create connections with the students, faculty, and staff at CMC and to start building your CMC experience.

As your dean, I look forward to getting to know and work with you in the coming year.  Best wishes as you prepare to come to Claremont soon.

You are encouraged to attend all Orientation events for new students. It is through these events that you will have the best opportunity to meet members of the first-year class, faculty, and staff.  Events specifically for transfer students are highlighted on the Orientation Schedule.

PLEASE NOTE: Transfer students are permitted to bring a vehicle to campus.

Please refer to the New Student Portal and this website often to view updated news and information. If you have additional questions, please contact The Dean of Students Office at (909) 621-8114 or deanofstudents@cmc.edu.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Jimenez MaraƱa
