Cultivating Connections: Economics - Accounting Majors


Economics-Accounting majors are a very special breed of student in the small liberal arts community. As a student within this area of focus, you will receive individualized resume review, cover letter assistance, and interview preparation through both the Robert Day School and the CMC Career Services Center.

Throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events aimed at introducing you to potential employers. In addition to employer-hosted information sessions and an on-campus industry night focusing specifically on careers in accounting and finance, Economics-Accounting majors will have an opportunity to take part in various targeted panels discussions, an accounting placement workshop and an accounting employment preparation workshop. These customized activities provide additional support to students striving for a career in the Big 4 and beyond.
