Sikh Studies

The Department of Religion is happy to announce the addition of Sikhism to its current curriculum beginning Spring 2017. Dr. Chloe Martinez (B.A., Barnard College, M.A., Boston University, Ph.D., UC Santa Barbara), the first Fellow in Sikh Studies at the College, is assigned the responsibility to teach a course on Sikhism and arrange lectures and other public events around this area of study.

We look forward to Dr. Martinez laying the foundation for what we hope will become a permanent part of the offerings at CMC. We are very grateful to the Global Institute for Sikh Studies, New York, for making this initiative possible.
