Indirect Cost/F&A Rates

On-Campus all programs: 55.9% of Salaries and Wages
Off-Campus all programs: 24.5% of Salaries and Wages

Determining the appropriate F&A rate depends on where the majority of work will take place. If 50% or more of the proposed program or work is to occur on campus, the on-campus rate should be used.
Fringe benefits are not included in the calculation base.

Fringe Benefit Rates
Effective January 5, 2015- June 30, 2019
Standard fringe benefit costs for full-time CMC employees may be estimated at 25.7% of salary level.
Part-time employees, including graduate students at 8.3%.
There is no fringe applied to undergraduate wages.
