The deans and directors of admission of eight nationally recognized colleges invite you and your parents to a reception. The colleges each have an undergraduate-focused educational experience replete with a low student-faculty ratio, an intimate learning environment, and a challenging curriculum.

The program will include presentations on admission, financial aid, and distinctive characteristics of each college. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about each college individually.

 

The Claremont Colleges Receptions 

The Claremont Colleges invite you to attend an information session hosted by admission representatives from Claremont McKennaHarvey MuddPitzerPomona, and Scripps Colleges. Admission officers will discuss the benefits of attending each individual college, as well as the advantages of participating in one of the strongest and most cohesive college consortia in the nation. The program will include a media presentation, individual college information presentations, a general question-and-answer session, and time at the end of the program for you to speak individually with each college.

The directors and deans of admission of five nationally recognized colleges and universities invite you and your parents to attend a program in your area. This group of institutions is traveling as part of the American Talent Initiative (ATI), a growing alliance of top colleges and universities committed to increasing access and opportunity for students of all economic backgrounds. The programs are open to all students and their parents and aims to demystify the college admission and financial aid process. The panelists will be available to answer specific questions about our institutions during a mini college fair at the end of the program.

Behind the Curtain: ATI Counselor Breakfasts

In addition to student programs, the deans and directors of admission at Bates College, Claremont McKenna College, Franklin & Marshall College, Lehigh University, and the University of Chicago are also hosting breakfasts for local high school counselors. Representatives from five outstanding colleges - Bates College, Claremont McKenna College, Franklin & Marshall College, Grinnell College, and Johns Hopkins University - are coming to Alabama! During our program you'll discover what makes each institution unique and learn about the selective college admission process. After our presentation you'll have an opportunity to interact with us during a Q&A session, and meet individually with admission representatives from each school.
