Want a unique, educational, and perspective-changing Spring Break this year? Join the Center for Civic Engagement on an Alternative Spring Break trip!
The Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program was developed with several goals in mind, including to promote service to others, develop leadership skills and personal growth, provide a cultural exchange opportunity, and foster strong bonds among participants. This year, we are sponsoring two trips over the Spring Break, March 16-23, 2013 with a focus on urban poverty and homelessness. Participants will include twelve students and one or two staff leaders per trip.
Student teams will be selected through an application process. For more information, and to download the application form, visit the Alternative Spring Break site.
