Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate this complex environment and parse rapidly changing scenarios. These challenges are shared in common with many institutions around the world. Many organizations, including colleges and universities, are currently implementing aggressive strategies to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This week CMC announced its plan and we are now better able to communicate the impact to our staff. Following are some of the most common questions and answers to address our shared concerns.

Please see below an important message sent today to all CMC students and families from Sharon Basso, Vice President of Student Affairs.

Thank you for supporting our students, faculty, and one another. I cannot adequately express my gratitude to our wonderful staff who have gone above and beyond on this unexpected occasion.

In case you haven’t already noticed, we recently added links to staff-, faculty-, and student-specific help pages to the College’s home page. Please check here frequently for updates, announcements, and resources – and if you have a question that is not addressed, let us know so we can include it.

Benefits Administration

The Claremont Colleges Services (TCCS) Benefits Administration department has set up a web page with COVID-19 information. This page includes information from the College’s health care providers, employee assistance program and the Centers for Disease Control. TCCS Benefits Administration may be reached via email at or via phone at (909) 621-8151.


For regular staff, you will continue to receive your base pay based on your regular work schedule through June 30, 2020. If you are working remotely, please continue to record hours worked as well as any use of vacation time and sick time just as if you were reporting to work each day. If you have any additional questions, please contact the payroll department at or (909) 607-4057.
