Meredith Brenalvirez

Following successful career tracks in advertising and commercial real estate, Meredith Brenalvirez shifted her focus to family and Military Women in Need. A board member since 1994, Ms. Brenalvirez has been a part of the growth of the organization from a small housing facility to a nationally recognized nonprofit.

Military Women In Need seeks to empower female veterans and survivors of veterans (widows) to live their lives with independence and dignity. Through housing assistance, emergency subsidies, resource and referral services, and home visits, Military Women In Need serves those who sacrificed for our freedom. Today, the organization serves female veterans and survivors of veterans from World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Stephen C. Bullock

Mr. Bullock is Montana's 24th governor. He began his career in public service in 1996 as chief legal counsel to the Montana Secretary of State. He went on to serve four years with the Montana Department of Justice, first as executive assistant attorney general, and later as acting chief deputy from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004, Bullock practiced law with the Washington, D.C., firm of Steptoe & Johnson. While there, he served as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School of Law. Bullock moved back to his hometown of Helena, Montana, in early 2005 and opened his own law firm. He was elected as Attorney General in 2008, and announced his candidacy for Montana's Governor in September 2011. He has been in the governor's office since January 2013.

Mr. Al-Hamad is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development. This is the regional development institution in the Arab World. It was created in 1973 to help the poor countries in the region to develop their economies through grants and soft loans. The Fund has so far financed more than 700 major projects in a number of fields such as power, irrigation, agriculture, roads, schools, universities and housing in 18 countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Mr. Hallman was the mayor of Tempe, Arizona, from 2004 to 2012. He was first elected by voters in March 2004 and was overwhelmingly reelected in 2008. He also served on the City Council from 1998 to 2002. He is currently running for Arizona state treasurer. He has served as headmaster at Tempe Preparatory Academy, a public school serving grades 6 through 12. He is also a business law attorney, specializing in domestic and international finance and taxation.

    Dr. Surin Pitsuwan was the Secretary-General of ASEAN from January 2008 to December 2012. His leadership brought prominent world leaders, including UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, U.S. President Barack Obama, China Premier Wen Jiabao and numerous others to the 19th ASEAN Summit for closer cooperation. To bring ASEAN closer to the people, he personally visited numerous universities, business communities, and the civil society. He also supported outreach activities through ASEAN Cultural Show and Exhibition, Rickshaw Run, Culinary Festival and Fun Bike. Dr. Surin continues to help unify ASEAN Member States seen through his recent visit to Cambodia where he met with H.M the King Norodom Sihamoni, senior government officials, and stakeholders. He is a native of Nakorn Sri Thammarat, Southern Thailand. A graduate in political science from Claremont Men's College in Political Science (cum laude), Dr. Surin holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University supported by the Winston S. Churchill Association and the Rockefeller Foundation Fellowships.
