The 29th annual International Banquet, sponsored by International Place, will be held at 7:00 PM, on Saturday, Nov. 23 at McConnell Center on the Pitzer College campus. The seven-course banquet includes Polish tomato soup, Korean barbeque, Indian chole, and Columbian patacones, all prepared and served by international students.
A wide array of entertainment features Kenyan and Burmese dancing, music from Japan, Turkey and China, an Argentine tango, and Bulgarian arias.
Reservations may be made at I-Place on the CMC campus, or by phone at 607-7869. Tickets are $12 for faculty, staff, and friends; $8 for children or students without meal cards; and $5 for students with meal cards.
