Claremont Finance Conference
organized by Student Investment Fund

The Claremont Finance Conference will be held on campus Friday, Oct. 1. This student-run conference is being organized by the Student Investment Fund, a group of 30 students who actively manage a portfolio of over $160,000 of CMC's endowment funds.
The conference will feature alumni speakers, offering students the opportunity to learn about finance from industry leaders. Additionally, the participants can learn about the various career paths within the finance industry, as well as take advantage of a networking opportunity.
Kyle Theodore '91, senior vice president, PIMCO, will kick off the conference with the opening lecture. Michael Larson '80, chief investment officer, BGI Group, will give the keynote address at lunch, held in the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum. A morning and afternoon alumni panel round out the schedule, closing with a Networking Reception at the Athenaeum.
While the conference is student organized, the luncheon is sponsored by the Financial Economics Institute, and the networking reception is sponsored by the Robert Day School of Economics and Finance.
The luncheon is free, but students must register in order to attend. Register for the luncheon here.
