Madrigal Set for Dec. 6, 7
The 25th anniversary of the Madrigal Feast, a celebration of music with holiday dining, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 and Friday, Dec. 7 at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Reservations for this annual event are restricted this year to CMC students, faculty, and staff.
Entertainment this year will be provided by student-run
a cappella groups from The Claremont Colleges, including The Claremont Shades, the After-School Specials, and Mood Swing. The anniversary celebration promises many of the same Madrigal traditions including a grand, multi-course meal of salmon, pheasant, salad, whiskey pudding, eggnog and wassail in collectible Athenaeum mugs.
Tickets for this event are $15 for students with meal cards, $20 for students without meal cards, and $30 per person for faculty and staff. Payment is due at the time of reservation.
Tickets may be purchased through noon on Wednesday, Dec. 5 in the Athenaeum office. (Online submissions are not being accepted.) Reservations are limited and seating is determined by the order in which payment is received.
