Students may petition to have their independent study project approved by a non-Economics department. To do so, please secure a professor in the intended department as a primary reader of the paper. Simultaneously, inform the Chair of the Department, the Registrar at your home campus, the Dean of the Robert Day School at CMC, and the SVP Director of your intention.
The professor of your choice (assuming his / her consent) will be your primary reader and will issue your grade. The Dean of the Robert Day School will be a secondary reader. The SVP Director will supervise interim deliverables to conform with the standards set out in the syllabus.
