Jil Stark Award

The Jil Stark '58 GP'11 Parent Volunteer Award recognizes and honors CMC parents who have contributed in a meaningful way to the mission of Claremont McKenna College. This annual award is announced during Family Weekend, and is named in honor of Jil Stark '58 GP'11 for the enormous generosity, tireless commitment and gracious dedication she bestowed upon CMC while her husband was President of the College between 1970 and 1999. The Jil Stark Award honors a current CMC parent or couple (excluding Jil Stark Award Committee members) who, over the course of the year, have contributed time and talent in an exemplary way, directly benefiting students in the mission of CMC – “Leaders in the Making” – and who, through their actions, have inspired other parents to become involved with the College.
