Claremont McKenna College students, faculty, and staff interested in assisting families in need this holiday season have an opportunity to help in two ways. The Dean of Students office is hosting a canned food drive during the week of Dec. 12-16. Items may be dropped off at Heggblade Center during business hours. Canned food collection boxes will also be available during the Staff Holiday Luncheon, Monday, Dec. 12 at the Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum. Please, only non-perishable items may be donated.
Concurrently, the CUC Office of the Chaplains is sponsoring a holiday giving train, seeking gift donations for local children. Tags listing each child's age and gender are available at McAlister Center and Huntley Bookstore. Wrapped items, with the child's tag attached, must be returned to either location by the end of the day on Monday, Dec. 12.
