Marci Lerner Miller '89 P'19 P'20 joins CMC Board of Trustees

Marci Lerner Miller '89 P'19 P'20, a disability and special education attorney who founded Miller Advocacy Group, has joined Claremont McKenna College’s Board of Trustees. Her three-year term was approved Feb. 22.

Miller launched Miller Advocacy Group 2013 as a special education law firm and counseling center. All of the firm’s attorneys and advocates are parents of children with disabilities and use their personal and professional experience to help families navigate the often complicated web of education and disabilities law.

Miller graduated from CMC in 1989 and New York University School of Law in 1992, where she was an articles editor for the NYU Law Review. Prior to working in special education, she practiced litigation and employment law at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Miller received her Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, with a practicum in counseling students with disabilities.
