Information & Registration for Delegates
Claremont McKenna College is pleased to invite delegates from institutions of higher education to march in the official processional at the investiture of President Dudley and looks forward to welcoming these representatives to campus for Inauguration events.
Please note that the information in this section contains details only for those who will be marching in the official processional as a delegate. Assembly and Processional for Investiture Ceremony
Delegates will be assigned to a robing room at Bauer Center. All members of the processional should be robed and ready to line up no later than 12:45 p.m. Delegates march in chronological order according to the founding dates of their respective institutions. The marching order will be posted in the robing room and staff members will assist with line up. The Faculty Marshal will lead the delegates through the academic procession and to seats in the delegate area.
The processional will begin promptly at 12:55 p.m. In addition to institutional delegates, members of the Claremont McKenna College Board of Trustees, President Emeriti, and Faculty will march from the front steps of Bauer Center South to Parents Field.
Professional photography and video recording may occur during all official commencement events. Delegates may appear in photographs and video, including live streaming video, used by Claremont McKenna College for promotional purposes, including the official College website.
Attire
We kindly ask that you provide your own regalia. If you do not have a cap and gown, please contact the school or organization you are representing so that they may provide you with the necessary academic regalia.
Parking
Parking will be complimentary for inauguration events on Saturday, November 7. Delegates should park in the Bauer lot, next to the Robert Day Sciences Center (855 North Claremont Blvd). If that lot is full, please use the Sports Bowl Parking Structure (752 N Claremont Blvd). Please allow ample time for entry into campus and walking to Bauer Center (500 E. Ninth Street) for check-in.
