The Dean of Students Office (DOS) works in consultation with Facilities and Campus Services (FACS) to determine fair charges for the damages listed below. At the end of each academic year, or when a student vacates a space, a FACS staff member conducts an inspection of the space to determine whether any damage charges are necessary. These charges are then added to the student’s account.
Students may appeal their charges through the Dean of Students Office by emailing [email protected]. Students are encouraged to review the Guide to Student Life, which outlines policies related to residential life. Students void their right to appeal a charge if they failed to submit a Room Condition Report by the stated deadline or did not complete an escorted check-out during move-out.
