The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) has named Claremont McKenna College’s Crown Challenge, a revolutionary strategy to maximize the impact of donor gifts, as a recipient of its top award among nationwide annual giving programs.
Today President Hiram Chodosh presented Claremont McKenna College’s (CMC) new initiative, The Student Imperative, at a White House
summit on college opportunity. With the President of the United States, the First Lady, the Secretary of Education, and over 100 college and university presidents in attendance, Chodosh reaffirmed CMC’s commitment to access and affordability.

Claremont, Calif., August 7, 2013–– Claremont McKenna College today announced the successful conclusion of The Campaign for Claremont McKenna, which has raised a total of $635.2 million to help build, support, and transform the College’s academic environment. The Campaign raised support for faculty and students, enhancement of the College's facilities, and scholarships through The Fund for CMC.
