Alvin Villarosa '25, a Claremont McKenna College Science Management major with a concentration in neuroscience, has been awarded the Barry Goldwater Scholarship, the highest governmental honor for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
For the second time in three years, and fourth time in Claremont McKenna College’s history, a student from the elite liberal arts college has been awarded a Rhodes Scholarship, the most competitive and prestigious scholarship in the world.
A 250-foot-long glass sculpture known as Qwalala and created by American artist Pae White, will be unveiled on Claremont McKenna College’s campus on Sept. 20th as the latest installment in the campus’ public art program.
