CMsci in Action: Advancing Undergraduate Research at CMC (Flatley Classroom #133) Get an insider look at how students in CMsci, the student-led Integrated Sciences research organization, are advancing undergraduate research at CMC. In this session, the Neuro team will share insights from their Alzheimer’s research conducted in collaboration with Professor Zeynep Enkavi, while the Environmental team will showcase their work designing and testing sustainable water filtration systems with Professor Jason Keller and lab manager Risa Takenaka.

3:30 pm – 4:20 pm | Community Spotlights Codes of Life: Student Panel (Flatley Classroom #133) Come learn about The Codes of Life, CMC’s new introductory science course required for all students. This course engages students with science as a way of knowing—an extraordinarily powerful framework for objectively evaluating the strength of claims about the natural world. Framed around a contemporary topic related to global human health, the course provides authentic research experiences, and importantly, requires every student to write their own software and implement their own AI system.
