In honor of their 2022 DII National Championship, members of the Claremont Foxes Rugby team were honored Wednesday by the Claremont City Council, who presented players with a certificate of congratulations. The Mayor of Claremont, along with CMC President Hiram E. Chodosh and other representatives from each of the 5Cs, were in attendance to congratulate the team on their outstanding performance and representation of Claremont and the community. More than a dozen players showed off their trophy and rugby ball at the meeting, capping off the evening with a photo with councilmembers.

“The Claremont Foxes have provided such a supportive and incredible community where I have made lifelong friends, created unforgettable memories, and have been presented life-changing opportunities. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of something so special,” said Caroline Bullock ’24, who is co-captain and flanker on the team.
