International Admission Requirements

All applicants:

  • Common Application
  • School Report (submitted by a school official)
  • Evaluation from a Counselor or School Official
  • High School Transcripts
  • School Profile
  • Two Teacher Evaluations
  • SAT or ACT scores
  • Mid-Year Report (submitted by a school official after the first term of your senior year)
  • Application Fee of $70
  • Optional Video Response: After submitting your application, you will receive instructions by email from the CMC Admission Office on how to submit an optional two-minute video. Submission of this video is completely optional and you will be provided with a prompt.

Application Deadlines:

  • Early Decision I - November 1
  • Merit Scholarship - December 1
  • Early Decision II - January 1
  • Regular Decision - January 1

If your first language is not English:

  • Minimum TOEFL: 100
  • Minimum IELTS: 7.5
  • A waiver is automatically granted for students whose primary language of instruction throughout high school was English

If you would like to be considered for merit-based scholarships:

  • Only available for freshman applicants
  • Submit your Common Application by December 1
  • If you would like to be considered for the Interdisciplinary Science Scholarship, complete the required need-base financial aid forms (see below)
  • If you qualify and would like to be considered for the Teng Yue Scholarship, complete the required need-based financial aid forms (see below) and submit your application at the Early Decision 1 deadline (Nov. 1st, 2015).
