After the Storm: What's Next for American Politics After the 2026 Election

Tue, November 10, 2026
Lunch Program
Ronald Brownstein

Join us as Ronald Brownstein gives an examination of the results of the 2026 election, focusing on the shifting coalition of each major party and how the results fit into longer-term trends in American politics, particularly the inability of either side to establish a durable advantage over the other in recent decades.

Ronald Brownstein is a senior political analyst for CNN and columnist for Bloomberg Opinion. Twice named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of presidential elections, he's also served as a senior editor at the Atlantic, editorial director at National Journal, chief national political correspondent, and columnist for the Los Angeles Times. He's the author or editor of seven books, most recently the NYT best seller: Rock Me On The Water: 1974, The Year Los Angeles Transformed Movies, Music, Television and Politics.

This event is co-sponsored by the Henry Salvatori Center for the Study if Individual Freedom in the Modern World.
