A big thank you to the parents, students, family members, and friends who made Family Weekend 2026 so special! We loved sharing this time with you! The weekend was filled with insightful faculty talks, student- and staff-led sessions, shared meals, and loads of opportunities to connect as a community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should my family participate? 

Families play a vital role in the CMC community, and Family Weekend is your chance to experience campus life through your student’s eyes. Enjoy time together, meet fellow CMC families, and get a closer look at what makes CMC such a special place.

Are family members and guests welcome at all events? 

Absolutely! Siblings, grandparents, and other guests are welcome to join in the weekend’s activities. Please be sure to include all guest names in your registration so we can provide nametags for everyone—these are required for event access. Note that many programs are designed for participants ages 16 and older. 

Will my student be able to participate? 

Students are encouraged to take part in as many events as their schedules allow! Some activities require advance registration or a small fee, so be sure to coordinate with your student. Even if their weekend is busy, there will be plenty for families to enjoy on their own and with other CMC families.
