About the Grant
The John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation awarded the Rose Institute a $100,000 one-year planning grant to elevate the perspectives of cities in Eastern Los Angeles County as the County implements major governance reforms enacted through Measure G. A Rose Institute team, including Ken Miller, Abhi Nemani '10, Bipasa Nadon, Marionette Moore, Sophia Helland '20, Deborah Aguirre '28, Sid Goldfader-Dufty PZ'28, Dhriti Jagadish '27, and Shivum Kalyanam '29, will work closely with the region’s city managers to provide input into the Measure G implementation process.

On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the Rose Institute presented its latest findings to the San Gabriel Valley City Managers Association (SGVCMA) at their meeting in Monrovia.
