In addition to the career service offerings at Claremont McKenna College, Robert Day Scholars are provided additional networking opportunities in the form of networking trips, intimate distinguished speaker meetings and career discussions with the Robert Day School Board of Advisors.
Networking Trips
Scholars have the opportunity to participate in off-campus networking trips. These trips provide Scholars the opportunity to meet with company representatives, as well as see and hear first hand what skills are necessary to thrive in professional environments. Since the program’s inception, Robert Day Scholars have had the opportunity to visit premiere companies in major cities around the world.
Distinguished Speaker Meetings
The Robert Day Scholars have numerous opportunities to meet in small groups with distinguished speakers and alumni that come to campus. These meetings have provided a forum for the Scholars to get up close and personal with notable leaders in various fields.
Board of Advisors
The Robert Day School Board of Advisors, representing a successful cross section of professionals, are an important resource for our RDS Scholars who are encouraged to use the Advisors as professional guides and mentors throughout the recruiting process.
