What is Psych Club?
The Psychology Club at CMC is committed to educating and empowering students in psychological research & careers.
We offer two main programs through our biweekly events :
- Research Training, where we focus on developing skills and confidence in psychological research so that you can become effective members of on-campus psychology labs and adjacent research institutes. This is done through Research Modules, Special Workshops, and a Lab-Readiness Certification Program
- Career Development, where we focus on providing you with career resources and connections to on-campus psychology labs, psychology students, and career professionals. This is done through Professor Life Stories, Community Events, and Alumni Panels.
In addition, we offer resources, insights, and opportunities for CMC psychology majors; funding for senior thesis, research methods practicum, and other personal ventures; and an open community of like-minded students passionate about psychology.
Learn more on our website, cmcpsychclub.com, where you can get more information and see the programming for the rest of the year.
Please also follow us on @cmcpsychclub on Instagram or LinkedIn for any upcoming events!
