The longitudinal outcomes have two primary data sources: public LinkedIn profiles and the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). Data from LinkedIn has been merged with information from the CMC student database to verify that the individuals are CMC graduates. However, LinkedIn is a very dynamic source of data, where individuals are frequently joining and updating their profiles. The NSC data is for CMC alumni who earned a master’s and/or doctoral graduate-level degree(s) after graduating from CMC.
- Over 6,000 CMC Alumni were matched with their public LinkedIn profiles, with graduates going back to the late 1940s.
- Alumni are employed by a vast variety of companies all over the United States and the globe.
- As they progress in their careers, close to 70% of Alumni are in Executive or Senior level positions within their companies.
- The most common degrees earned after CMC are masters, law degrees, and MBAs, but many alumni also obtain PhDs and MDs, from prestigious schools in the US.
